Valley Bar Mediation Center is a 501(c)3 IRS approved not-for-profit organization committed to educating the public about the benefits of mediation. Our primary charitable goal is to build community through mediation and peace building.
Valley Bar Mediation Center’s work focuses on helping communities learn how to resolve disputes in a peaceful manner. VBMC enhances understanding among diverse groups to manage problems and work toward lasting solutions.
VBMC teaches mediation, collaboration and problem solving to administrators, teachers and parents in public schools. Students will learn how to move from adversarial relationships to friendly, respectful ways of communicating. We also offer instruction and training to organizations and businesses on how to incorporate mediation and conflict resolution into their management practices.
Promoting Social Welfare
Valley Bar Mediation Center’s charitable work promotes social welfare by combating community deterioration through the loss of access to speedy justice. VBMC’s efforts to reduce the scope of litigation helps to relieve the burden on courts. Our organization helps to expedite the litigation process through mediation as an alternative means. We decrease the level of acrimony and adversity within the local communities by resolving conflicts and disputes. Ourwork also enhances the concept and practice of dispute and conflict resolution.
